You'll play an important role in helping patients get to and from appointments and other necessary services while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the journey.What You Should KnowEmployment: Full-timeSchedule: 9:00 AM–9:00 PMLocation: Newark, OhioMeaningful work directly supporting patients and their familiesOpportunity to be part of a compassionate, mission-driven care teamWhat You'll DoSafely operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate transportation services to Ohio's Hospice patients.Assist patients as needed while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and dignity.Complete transportation logs, documentation, and reports accurately and on time.Work collaboratively with other team members and assist with activities across departments as needed to support comprehensive patient care.Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities that promote and strengthen the quality of Ohio's Hospice services.Support the onboarding and development of new team members by serving as a preceptor when requested.Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and coworkers.Why This Role MattersTransportation is an important part of helping our patients access the care they need.
